Stay.

1–2 minutes
Stay.
When the night presses heavy
and the whispers of surrender claw at your mind,
stay.

Stay, for the world still hums
with hidden melodies you have yet to hear,
with sunlight you almost forgot existed,
with moments that will make your chest ache
in ways only living can teach.

Stay, not because pain will vanish,
but because you are stronger
than the darkness that tried to claim you.
Stay, because time is patient,
and when your hour comes,
it will come; not a moment sooner.

Stay, and let each breath
be a declaration:
I am here. I endure. I am alive.

Stay.
For life is not owed,
it is a gift; trembling, fragile, radiant.
Stay, until the laughter you've forgotten
find you again.
Stay, until the world reminds you
why you chose to breathe.

Stay.
