Hey ya’ll, Happy Juneteenth

Welcome to the space I’ve been dreaming about pursuing for so long, until now.

This blog is for anyone who needs a breakdown of what’s happening out there in the world, from pop culture messiness, real time policy reviews from this administration, left-wing politics commentating, and personal reflections. It’s for people who live for a good rant, those who love a hot take, and anyone who wants a fresh perspective from a different pov, no “Positions” intended (unless we’re talking about the Ariana kind).

But this blog is more than a digital diary or a space to comment on the harsh realities of our political and economic state of the world (sorry I had to throw in that Jaden Smith joke, lol). It’s where you’ll see my identity, culture, queerness, Blackness, generic music taste, and college chaos all come together. I’m a Black, queer non-gender conforming Gen-Z student trying to navigate through life, truth, and growth; loudly and unapologetically.

I created this space because I needed somewhere to exist without shrinking. A space where I don’t have to explain myself or censor my feelings just to make the world comfortable. I’m here to do a job, also have fun, but mainly work that has to be done. If you’re reading this, I hope you find a little bit of yourself here too; whether you’re figuring out who you are, questioning everything, or just looking for someone who says what you’ve been thinking.

Here’s what you can expect:

This blog is for anyone who’s ever felt overlooked, misunderstood, or boxed in. It’s for the firstborns who carry more than they’re allowed to show, for the ones who weren’t handed ease, who think too much and feel too deeply, with nowhere to place it all.

If you’ve ever felt like too much and not enough at the same time, this space is for you. For the ones who overthink, overgive, and overflow in silence; this is a soft landing. A place to unpack the weight, piece by piece. You’re not alone here. You’re seen. You belong.
